3770:1-9-940 Game Rule nine hundred forty.

(A) Title and term. Game number nine hundred forty is the Ohio-adopted version of the "Multi-State Raffle" game. Game number nine hundred forty shall be conducted at such times and for such periods as the director may determine. For the purpose of
this rule, "sales cycle" shall mean any such period beginning on the date when ticket sales are commenced and continuing through the date established by the Ohio lottery commission executive director as the date on which sales agents are to make final settlement with respect to such period.

(B) Game Description.

(1) "Multi-State Raffle" is a multi-jurisdiction raffle game offered pursuant to the terms of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) Agreement with Participating Lotteries. Each ticket purchased in game number nine hundred
forty shall contain one or more entry numbers and each entry number shall institute a game play. On the drawing date established by the Participating Lotteries a drawing will be conducted in cooperation between the MUSL and
the Participating Lotteries through the use of computerized random number generators. Holders of tickets containing winning game plays shall winners and awarded either Grand Prizes or Runner-Up prizes as determined by the drawing and in accordance with this rule. A player may only win up to one time each game play. There is no maximum number of game plays which may be sold in this game.

(2) The price of a ticket in game number nine hundred forty shall be ten dollars for each game play selected.

(3) Claims. A ticket purchased in Ohio may only be claimed in Ohio. A ticket shall be the only proof of a game play or plays. A play slip has no pecuniary or prize value and shall not constitute evidence of ticket purchase or of numbers selected. A terminal-produced paper receipt has no pecuniary or prize value and shall not constitute evidence of ticket purchase or of numbers selected.

(4) Cancellations prohibited. A ticket may not be voided or canceled by returning the ticket to the selling agent or to the lottery, including tickets that are printed in error. No ticket that can be used to claim a prize shall be returned to the lottery for credit. Tickets accepted by retailers as returned tickets and that cannot be re-sold shall be deemed owned by the bearer thereof.

(5) Player Responsibility. It shall be the sole responsibility of the player to verify the accuracy of the game play and other data printed on the ticket. The placing of plays is done at the player's own risk through the agent that is acting on behalf of the player in entering the play or plays.

(C) Manner of raffle drawings.
