NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

OHIO LOTTERY COMMISSION HEARING ON THE ADOPTION OF AMENDED ADMINISTRATIVE RULES

Notice is hereby given that the Ohio Lottery Commission intends to adopt two (2) amended administrative rules in Proposed Form.  A public hearing will be conducted on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at the Frank J. Lausche Building, 615 West Superior Avenue, 4th floor, Cleveland, Ohio 44113, at 10:00 A.M. in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act, (Chapter 119, Ohio Revised Code).  Any person affected by the proposed action may appear and be heard in person, by the person’s attorney, or both; may present the person’s position, arguments, or contentions, orally or in writing; offer and examine witnesses; and present evidence tending to show that the proposed rule, amendment or revision, if adopted or effectuated, will be unreasonable or unlawful.

The amended rules to be considered for adoption are Ohio Lottery Administrative Rules 3770:2-2-01 and 3770:2-3-01.

The rules to be considered for adoption as amended rules relate to video lottery terminal definition of terms and the application process relating to racing permits.  The rules as amended would permit simultaneous filings of license applications with the Racing Commission and the Ohio Lottery Commission.
